Vermont School Counselor Certification Renewal Process

Renewing your School Counselor certification in Vermont involves fulfilling specific professional learning requirements tailored to your licensure level. Whether you are renewing a Level I or Level II license, you must complete designated hours of professional development that align with educational standards and your endorsement. After ensuring all necessary documentation is gathered, including proof of completed professional learning and any relevant personal details, you’ll submit your renewal application through the ALiS portal. A background check may be required, and a nominal application fee applies. Monitoring your application’s progress via ALiS ensures a smooth renewal process, allowing you to maintain your certification without interruption (see licensure renewal process overview).
